Murray Loubser

Murray Loubser is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist and professional Red Bull BMX athlete whose art practice explores the relationship between colour, nature, image, writing and material. Murray works primarily with acrylic and mixed media on wood, developing multi-media solar-printing and image-transfer techniques on stone and other natural materials. "I think of my ink transfer works as modern fossils: fragments that connect the past, present and future, merging with the earth that holds them."
