Careisha Esperanza

CARESHIA ESPERANZA STEENKAMP (b. 1991) is a South African self-taught artist based in Cape Town. Her work carries a unified voice from large scale artworks to smaller works on canvas to small and intimate drawings. Her work captures both movement, flow, feminine form & figuration through her bold use of colour & definitive line work. Along with a mixed media base, her work showcases her distinctive language on the canvas. With her roots in illustration (BA in Graphic Design) and a great passion for visual art, Esperanza translates her detailed and wild visuals with a magnificent sense of calm and flux.
